I am a Ph.D. candidate in strategy and entrepreneurship at London Business School. My research examines misconduct in entrepreneurial settings. I study whether and why startups engage in more misconduct than incumbent firms, how founder gender shapes the relationship between violations and firm survival, and how the speed to IPO affects post-IPO misconduct.
Before starting my Ph.D. in 2019, I worked at The Avenues, a major retail and real estate operation in Kuwait, and co-founded an interior design startup. I hold a BSc in civil engineering from Kuwait University and an MBA specializing in entrepreneurship and corporate innovation from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
Outside academia, I enjoy running, cycling, and playing tennis and padel.
