I am a Ph.D. student in strategy and entrepreneurship at London Business School.
Before pursuing graduate studies in 2019, I worked at The Avenues, one of the largest malls in the Middle East, and co-founded a startup specializing in interior design.
I hold a BSc in civil engineering from Kuwait University and an MBA specializing in entrepreneurship and corporate innovation from Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.
My research interests are in understanding the antecedents and consequences of startup misconduct. In particular, my research explores whether startups do more misconduct than incumbents and why, how founder gender affects litigation likelihood, and how deceptive practices emerge, persist, and evolve in startups.
Outside academia, I enjoy running, cycling, and playing tennis and padel.
